What you'll learn.
The Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management program is designed for students who have some full-time work experience and desire to improve their understanding of how organizations function and develop effective skills in management and leadership. Focused attention is given to defining and understanding strategic planning, financial management, law and marketing, and other areas in which an organizational leader must be knowledgeable in order to be effective.

-Be age 22 or older
-Have work experience, preferably full-time work experience
-Meet the writing proficiency standards of the College of External Studies

-Major Course Requirements: 30 credits

Liberal Studies

Students with a background and/or interest in Liberal Studies can transfer up to 12 credits of Liberal Studies coursework into their Liberal Studies concentration resulting in a dynamic degree comprised of complementing areas. Students with a concentration in Liberal Studies will have an understanding and appreciation of mankind's cultural heritage by examining areas such as literature, philosophy, music, architecture, etc.
These students will combine their Liberal Studies education with organizational skill development in communications, group behavior, decision making, human resource management and ethics, culminating in a well-rounded degree.
